SMVC on the BBC

On Monday 29th January BBC Look North visited Steeton Chapel to do a live feature on SMVC. This followed the release of a recent documentary, Canning Forever, exploring the history of male voice choirs and SMVC in particular. The documentary came about following some SMVC members being used in the film “Say Your Prayers”, unfortunately like so many recent events the documentary was started prior to covid and subsequently delayed.
